• Ricoh Imaging brings Pentax back to India with K-S2 DSLR

    The Pentax K-S2 DSLR features a 20.1 MP sensor with 11 point autofocus
    Ricoh Imaging, the parent company of Pentax, has announced the launch of K-S2 DSLR with 20.1 MP APS-C CMOS sensor at a price of Rs 56,995. The DSLR will come with DA 18-50 mm F4.5-6 retractable lens and DA 50-200 mm F4.5-6 lenses exclusively on Amazon India.
    The Pentax name holds a huge legacy in photography, even in India. At 1960 Photokina trade show, Asahi Optical (then Pentax) showed its Spot-matric prototype which took exposure measurements via a spotmeter through the taking lens.
