    Notion Ink has announced new Cain Signature Black 2-in-1 tablet in collaboration with Microsoft and Intel exclusively on Snapdeal. The premium Windows 10 tablet is available with 64GB memory at a price of Rs 20,990.
    Notion Ink Cain Signature Black tablet features a 10.1-inch IPS LCD display with a resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels and is powered by a 1.33GHz quad-core Intel BayTrail processor. The tablet features 2GB RAM and 64GB internal storage further expandable up to 128GB through a microSD card.

  • Google Glass project renamed as Project Aura: report

    Google Glass has been renamed as Project Aura.
    Despite its failure to hit the bull’s eye in its first run, Google is not ready to let its Glass project slide. The company is now pursuing the project under a new name.
    The project has now been named Project Aura, though it is still being headed by Ivy Ross, who previously ran the Glass project, Wall Street Journal reported.
    The Project Aura team has been hiring engineers, software developers and project managers from Amazon.com’s hardware-focused research division Lab126.
    Google swooped in as Lab126 laid off dozens of engineers who worked on its failed Fire smartphone.
    Aura is working on the next incarnation of Glass, but the team is also developing other wearable technology, according to job descriptions on business-networking site LinkedIn.

    Intel and experimental US clothing studio Chromat revealed a high-tech sports bra with cooling vents and a 3D printed dress that responds to the wearer’s adrenaline levels.  Chromat showcased the clothes at its Spring Summer 2016 Collection.
    The Chromat Adrenaline Dress is powered by Intel’s Curie, which is a low-powered device for wearables, and is made of 3D printed panels designed and “an interlinked, expandable carbon fiber framework,” according to the designer studio.
