    ZenBook Pro UX501 has a 15.6-inch VisualMaster IPS display with 4K/UHD resolution and a pixel density of 282 pixels per inch (PPI). The ZenBook Pro UX501 features 8GB RAM and GDDR5 2GB for video memory.
    The ZenBook Pro UX501 comes with a quad-core Intel Core i7 processor,NVIDIA GeForce GT 960M graphics and a 512GB PCI Express (PCIe) x4 SSD.

  • Apple iPad Pro features: 12.9-inch Retina Display, Pencil stylus and more

    Apple’s iPad took a leap into productivity and enterprise arena with the new iPad Pro launch. The iPad Pro features a huge 12.9-inch Retina display with 5.6 million pixels, and will support a new stylus called Apple Pencil. Apple has also launched a new Smart keyboard cover for the iPad Pro to make typing easier on the device.
    The iPad Pro runs a 64-bit A9X chip, which Apple says is faster than most portable PCs that were shipped last year and offer 10 hour of battery life.

  • YU YUPIX, printer for smartphone photos launched; price is Rs 6999

    YU YUPIX printer will cost Rs 6999 and will be an Amazon exclusive.
    Micromax co-founder Rahul Sharma’s Yu Televentures has launched a new portable printer called YUPix compatible with Android and iOS smartphones and priced Rs 6999.
    YUPIX is a compact pocket sized printer — like the one LG launched a couple of years ago — primarily for smartphone photos. YU claims the printer has an image transfer speed which is 10 times faster than other pocket printers. Its dimensions are 2.99 x 6.01 x 0.94 inches and it weighs 273gms.
    It uses ‘dye sublimation’ printing technology with a resolution of 291 dpi and supports JPEG format. The size of the photo print is 2.1 x 3.4 inch and it can take 10 photos continuously. YU claims the print time is 60 seconds for each picture and YUPIX has a 750 mAh battery.

    Samsung’s new UHD Blu-ray player, is the first of its kind and will launch in Europe first.
    At the IFA 2015, Samsung announced a new Ultra HD Blu-ray player, which supports UHD Blu-ray disc playback. Samsung becomes the first company to make such a product announcement around 4K and HDR videos.
    Samsung says that their Ultra HD Blu-ray player is capable of providing four times the resolution and 64 times higher colour expression compared to standard Blu-ray player. Samsung’s UHD Blu-ray player also supports HDR and can play Ultra UD videos at the rate of 60 frames per second as well.
