• Oculus Rift shipment delays due to component shortage: Company promises free shipping

    Oculus Rift is facing delivery issues with its new, consumer ready VR headset.
    Oculus Rift, which announced shipping for its consumer version of its VR headsets last week, is facing delay with deliveries and has issued an apology note to its customers.
    According to this report on Fortune, Oculus  sent out emails to users apologising for the delay, but cautioned in the message that the wait will continue. However the company is now promising free shipping for all customers.

    Google Acer Chromebase for meetings is priced at 9 and will go on sale soon.
    Google and Acer have launched a new Chromebase meant for meetings at the workplace. The all-in-one secure video-conferencing device costs $799, and will go on sale in the US, Canada, UK, Ireland and Australia.
    Google says the $799 price-tag includes the first year management and support fees, and it will expand availability to additional countries where Chromebox is available.
    Acer Chromebase is meant for secure video-conferencing device in small meeting areas with up to two people.
