  • Wearables related to personal security most popular: Ericsson report

    Ericsson report says wearables might replace smartphones and help users interact with physical things.
    Ericsson ConsumerLab has unveiled its ConsumerLab report, ‘Wearable technology and the internet of things’; which reveals the top five most wanted wearables. According to the report, devices related to personal safety and security, such as panic buttons and personal locators are most popular.
    The survey was conducted across five markets and here are the top five wearables with the percentage of people interested in buying:
    1. Panic/SOS button (32 per cent)
    2. Smartwatch (28 per cent)
    3. Wearable Location Tracker (27 per cent)
    4. Identity Authenticator (25 per cent)
    5. Wearable Water Purifier (24 per cent)

    Micromax ACs come with turbo cooling feature. The ACs cool faster with turbo cooling.
    Micromax has unveiled its range of air conditioners with three split ACs and one window AC. The air conditioners will be manufactured in Uttarakhand, under Make in India initiative.
    Micromax has also set up service centres, accompanying the launch. Micromax air conditioners come with ECCO Blu Technology, that protects the condenser coil from moisture. The technology helps in prolonging the life of the condenser by up to three times.
    Micromax ACs come with turbo cooling feature. The ACs cool faster with turbo cooling. They also come equaipped with Volatile Organic Compounds (VOC) filter that removes chemicals with the help of oxidizing agents.
