• E3 2016: Images of ‘slimmer’ Xbox One S leaked ahead of Microsoft event

    Microsoft is hosting an Xbox One event later today at the ongoing Electronic Entertainment Expo 2016 (E3 2016), and images of a new slimmer Xbox One S console have been leaked online ahead of the launch.
    According to pictures posted by users at the Neogaf forum, the new Xbox One S will be 40 per cent slimmer, and comes in a white colour option, which actually looks quite nice.
    One of the leaked images shared appears to be screenshot from the Microsoft site, saying the console is up for pre-order.
    Other features indicated in the leaked photos are 4K Ultra HD support, High Dynamic Range, 2TB hard drive, a streamlined controller (meaning a slimmer one), and a vertical stand.

    Fitness bands in India dominated the wearables segment, with Xiaomi being the top vendor: IDC
    India’s wearable market reached 400,000 units in Q1 2016, reports research firm International Data Corporation (IDC), with fitness bands dominating the market and accounting for 87.7 per cent of the market share.
    While Xiaomi and GoQii are have a 45 per cent market share, Fitbit has the maximum market value share, noted IDC.
    “The wearable market is rapidly gaining traction as it provides an easy health tracking mechanism to the users. In terms of units, Xiaomi and GOQii together contributed over 45 percent share, however Fitbit had maximum market value share.
