    Apple has finally updated its smartwatch offering simply called ‘Apple Watch’. The second generation smartwatch is called ‘Apple Watch Series 2’ and features a new GPU, which gives it twice the performance in comparison with the first Apple Watch. The watch is also the first to ship with Apple’s latest watchOS 3.
    Apple Watch Series 2 looks exactly like the first generation watch, but has some cool new features tucked inside. It has a thinner display which features 1000nits of brightness making for a better readability under direct sunlight. The addition of GPS in the watch, makes for a more capable running companion.

    Smartwatches again spot to limelight when Samsung revealed its Gear S3 at IFA 2016 and Apple unveiled Watch Series 2 last week. Apple Watch, the most successful smartwatch runs company’s own watchOS while Samsung Gear S3 runs Tizen OS. Naturally, the common comeptitor for both the watches come from Android domain – but not this year.
    According to CNET, smartphone makers LG, Huawei and Motorola have decided not to release any Android-based smartwatch this year. While LG recently announced a version of Urbane with LTE, Huawei and Motorola have not updated their smartwatches for more than a year now. It is unclear whether Android smartwatches have hit a roadblock of any kind.

    Sony CP-SC10 comes with a battery capacity of 10,000mAh. The CP-SC10 can charge up to two Type-C portable devices.
    Sony has launched two new portable chargers called CP-SC10 and CP-AD3. Sony CP-SC10 is available for Rs Rs 5,990 and USB Type-C AC adaptor CP-AD3 costs Rs 2,390. The CP-AD3 can be used to charge the USB Type-C portable charger or as a standard power adaptor for charging any USB Type-C device. Sony has also introduced USB-C-C cable and USB-C – Micro USB cable.
    Sony CP-SC10 comes with a battery capacity of 10,000mAh. The CP-SC10 can charge up to two Type-C portable devices. Sony claims charging input of CP-SC10 is two times faster than a regular USB-A portable charger. The devices have been manufactured using Sony’s Hybrid Gel Technology.

    Canon has announced the launch of its latest addition to the EOS M series – the new Canon EOS M5. It features a 24.2MP APS-C sized CMOS sensor and a DIGIC 7 Image Processor, which the company claims is the fastest AF speed in the M-series. EOS M5 is the first camera in the series to feature a low energy Bluetooth connection that can stay connected to a compatible device using the camera connect app.
    The camera has an ISO setting between 100-25,600. It can take high-speed continuous shooting at up to seven frames per second, and up to nine frames per second with the AF lock. The new DIGIC 7 Image Processor allows for an improved AF tracking performance.

    Uber became the first company to make self-driving cars available to the general public in the US through a test program in Pittsburgh. The ride-hailing service selected a group of customers, including Pollier, to take free rides in autonomous Ford Fusions, with human drivers as backups.
    Pollier, 27, said the Fusion “felt sharp,” and the 15-minute ride to his bartending job went smoothly and felt “like taking an Uber any other day.”
