    Samsung Galaxy Tab A Nook e-reader by Barnes & Noble has been launched at a price of $139.99 in the US. The new budget e-reader is available on the Barnes & Noble website for purchase. The first generation of the tab was launched in 2014, and was called the Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 Nook – also featuring a 7-inch display. The company launched two new Nook tabs in 2015 – the Galaxy Tab S2 Nook (8-inch display) and the Galaxy Tab E Nook (9.6-inch display).
    Samsung Galaxy Tab A Nook will run on Android 4.4 Kitkat, has a 7-inch display with 1280×800 pixels, and features 8GB of internal memory (expandable to 200GB). In addition to this extra storage space, all Nook purchases are stored for free in the Nook Cloud.

    Apple Watch with cellular connectivity is likely to be delayed till the next generation, although new versions of the Watch will come with GPS-tracking, says a report on Bloomberg.
    The Bloomberg report by Mark Gurman says Apple has been in talks with major cellular networks in US and Europe, but there are concerns chips with LTE will consume too much battery. The report adds this will reduce “the product’s effectiveness,” and thus affect user appeal, and there’s a good chance this particular feature will be pushed back to the next generation.

    Intel Project Alloy, a new all-in-one virtual reality solution with the company’s RealSense Technology has been unveiled at the ongoing Intel Developer Forum in San Francisco. Intel CEO Brian Krzanich unveiled Project Alloy, and the company will offer this as an open platform in 2017.
    In case of Project Alloy, the computing device and sensors are directly integrated into the VR headset. The company claims a user can go totally wireless on Alloy; it does not need to a computer or other sensors for the user to experience ‘merged reality’.
