Sony has added another new camera to its catalogue with RX10 III. The third generation of RX10 camera now comes with almost triple the optical zoom range.
At the heart of Sony RX10 III is the newly developed Zeiss Vario-Sonnar T lens. The lens comes with a zoom range of 24-600mm and has aperture of F2.4-4.0.

Sony RX10 III’s new lens also boasts of 25x optical magnification. Sony RX10 III comes with a 20.1MP 1.0 type stacked CMOS sensor. The image sensor also gets DRAM chip and BIONZ X processor.
As one would expect from any Sony camera nowadays, there is emphasis on 4K recording here as well. Sony RX10 III is capable of 4K recording with full pixel readout and no pixel binning. The camera records 4K videos at high bit rate.
Sony RX10 III supports super slow motion recording at up to 1000fps and its autofocus achieves 0.09-second fast autofocus. The camera is priced at Rs 1,14,990 and will be available from April 29.
