A US-based startup has launched a smart laptop shell that turns your Android smartphone into a complete laptop – making it more convenient and affordable for people in developing countries like India and South Africa to carry their office in their pocket, literally.
The shell, called Superbook by Andromium Inc., makes an Android smartphone output look very much like a desktop environment. It is essentially a “dumb terminal”– a notebook without a processor but with a keyboard, battery, trackpad and display, TreeHugger reported on Saturday.

Google is reportedly working on its own smartwatches powered by Android Wear. At I/O 2016, Google showed the next version of Android Wear 2.0 which makes smartwatches more standalone devices.
Reports hinting at Google’s own smartwatches had surfaced last week and now images confirming the development have been made public. According to Android Police, Google’s smartwatches are codenamed Angelfish and Swordfish and will come with Google Assistant built-in.

Google is currently working on two Android Wear devices – possibly Nexus branded, reports AndroidPolice. The watches might be released some time after the launch of the next Nexus phones, claims the report.
The larger watch in Google’s Android Wear will feature LTE, GPS and a heart-rate sensor. The smaller watch won’t have GPS and mobile data support. Both watches are claimed to feature full circular displays.
The larger device is code-named Angelfish, and will have a 43.5mm dial and will come matte dark finish “titanium” colour, adds the report.

Fossil has announced two new smartwatches in its Android Wear lineup. The new watches are called Q Wander and Q Marshal and they follow the Q Founder launched late last year.
Both Q Wander and Q Marshal are powered by Android Wear and feature smaller watch case than Q Founder. The Q Wander has a 44mm watch case while the Q Marshal comes with a 46mm case.
